0:08 on math. I hit a typo on the decimal point, and then missed backspace, hitting home, instead, and then had to get my cursor under control, lol.

0:03 left on the math. Close!

We won't mention the country one and my misled approach at going through a map in my head one country at a time. Wasn't quite enough time for me to get through them all, and the path I took basically left all but one of them for last. :p In retrospect I should've expected that... ah well!

17/36 - some of them, I knew the song, but not the name.

7:25 on the guitar solo's. I had to do double takes on a couple of them....

Editorial commentary:
1. Some of that stuff has no business on that list.
2. The audio quality made a few of them hard to hear....

Awesome category! I got 20/36 right. I knew pretty much every artist but drew a blank on some of the song titles.

Spoiler:
OMFG I can't believe I missed Alive...grrrrr

I knew 15. I guessed at 3 which I figured would be on there by reputation, but not being a guitar-head, don't know the song well enough to recognize the solos.

Looking at the ones I missed, I identified the artists correctly on 5 of them by style alone, but couldn't place the song properly.

How did you get all of them in less time than it takes to play through it once?

The audio is only 6 minutes long?

Edit:
not to mention, 75% of them were guessable (for me anyway)

still not sure how you listened to 6 minutes of audio in 4 minutes and 35 seconds.

I think the rest of us are posting the time left on the clock, not the time it took us to complete. You're still way, way, way ahead of the rest of us so far.

Consider it clarified....

Edit:
I apologize for any confusion. I was more timing myself against the audio track and not really thinking about the 12 minute limit. I was little annoyed that I had to replay some of the loops several times before I could get the name of the tune.

This one was a sweet spot for me. Notice that I didn't even make an attempt at some of the others. =)

Hmm....

Since this places roots are in EQ1, how about Everquest 1 Zones. Probably way too easy for this crowd, but here ya go...

http://www.sporcle.com/games/bseh86/everquest_zones

I haven't done this one yet (busy at work today). I'll try to get to it later.. Enjoy

Ok, that was harder than I thought (and my memory sucks!).

55 of 69
Spoiler:
Aced faydwer (no surpise, as I mainly played wood elves), missed Kerra on odus, and a bunch of stuff on antonica

31/69.. considering how recently I played this was just pitiful. Most of these zones I was able to picture in my head, could tell you what dropped where from mobs, tricks to navigating the zones, everything... but couldn't produce the zone name at all.
