My DS has been broke for about a year and a half now. I was thinking about getting it fixed so that I have some decent toilet gaming. Have there been any good RPG's in the last couple years that you'd recommend? I picked up Final Fantasy 4 and managed to beat just prior my DS taking a dump. Anything good since then that you'd recommend?

Chrono Trigger got remade for the DS if you haven't played that. Dragon Quest series is always good, I think V and IX got put on DS?

4-6 and 9 Only 4 is a previous american release.

Also it seems to me that Final Fantasy 4 is way harder on the DS then I remember it. Maybe I've just gotten soft.

Nope, it's harder for sure. Lots of mobs used status effects liberally and they actually stuck with good frequency.

They remade the original Fire Emblem for the DS. It's not a pure RPG, but I still enjoyed it a great deal.

They also hit a lot harder, and bosses all counterattack every time they're damaged in addition to performing their own actions.
