I think the reference is counting the days that GWB operated his office out of crawford as Vacation days.

I don't begrudge either their vacation time. I'd just like everyone to do the same. I'd like the Presidents to be judged on equal criteria and I am upset when Obama seems to get a pass on certain things. Hence my sig.

Except the the current gas prices have almost nothing to do with any policies that Obama has done. They are almost entirely due to the situation in the middle east.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Obama just start bombing a new country in the Middle East?

Defacto Moratorium on Gulf drilling?

Point is lots of people were crowing (perhaps justifiably perhaps not) how gas prices were all Bushes fault yet Obama gets a pass. Thank you for proving my point.

That is not what he said. 2 wrongs may not make a right, but that concept does not excuse the later wrong while allowing castigation for the earlier wrong

And he proves it once again. You are so in the tank for that idiot in office you can't even admit that you give him a pass on many things you ***** about W.

I think Obama has taken all the major policy decisions that Bush would have if he was still in office. So I don't see why Aizle so staunchly opposed Bush but has a warm fuzzy feeling inside for Obama.

Get your facts straight dude.

I never ***** about gas prices under Bush (or anyone else for that matter). Nor did I ever ***** about the amount he golfed.

I do think I commented that he sure took a lot of vacation time, but frankly given the amount he took I believe that was warranted.

I don't recall Aizle ever blaming Bush for gas prices. Nor do I recall any prominent liberal commentators doing so, other than perhaps to point out that his policies weren't going to do anything to lower those prices (i.e. increasing domestic production won't help).

More generally, it does seem to me that the professional left is much more critical of Obama than the professional right was of Bush during his Presidency.

I'd say it's about equal.

Watched the Trump Roast (they really should have called it that) last night and Snoop had a great line (paraphrased because I can't remember it exactly):

"Of course you should run for President, Mr.Trump, it won't be the first time you've kicked a black family out of their home."

That's pretty funny...

I wish they'd stop giving coverage to his **** sideshow. Why interview him instead of Ryan or almost anyone else that's not a clown who would be in opposition? Oh, less rating for that.
