There is a lot of humor to be mined in the predictions, too, though. From the absurd, to the amusing juxtapositions/nonsensical ordering.

For example, we find that Social Security is very well-planned: it will exhaust its funds the same year that nanotechnology will reverse the aging process.

Well in Halo 1, you could zoom in with that pistol and shoot people halfway across the map. It was really effective.
