I wake up this morning and my wife is freaking out because she just had an extremely vivid dream.

She explains that she was driving down the main drag here in town, when suddenly she sees a huge explosion, an enormous column of fire in the sky, and so she turns the car around but it dies. She remembers (in great detail) pushing the car down the street, ashes and debris are raining all around... and then she wakes up.

So she says it's a bad sign, and she sort of worries about me going to work.

I get in the car and start driving, and I turn on the radio. The very first thing I hear is "Hey, today is April 19, 2011, the date that Skynet becomes self aware*".

Needless to say I'm a little freaked out.

So... was she messing with me? Did she see something on TV that stuck in her subconscious? Or was it a wierd coincidence?

I wouldn't rule out the possibility that your wife is awesome enough to mess with you in such a fashion.

Or, it could just be a coincidence.

Play along, in either case, with the support and comforting her about the dream. And in the back of your mind, assume she's awesome.

Keep in mind, this is only the date according to the TV show, according to the original movie it was August of 1997...
