Drives me nuts that our legislature here is even wasting time with this issue, but I'm delighted there are intelligent, elloquent and fair people like this out there trying to do what's right.

He called sexuality a "gift from God". If he meant that literally then he's not too intelligent.

Unless you're insinuating that belief in god makes one less intelligent, I don't see how this is the case. Nothing credibly indicates any god that may exist cares who people choose to love, or how they use their genitalia. The concept "God created gays, too" is completely logical, with the assumption one believes in God.

If I was at work and started writing emails "God made this router like this..." etc. people would think I'm crazy and/or unintelligent.
