He was an effective gambit by the RNC to make Obama cave and reverse himself on issues he said were irreverseable. Its all political fodder.

Sadly you're right Mus. We'll probably get saddled with another Mellow Yellow like Gingrich and it will be a repeat of 08 only with lower turnout.

I was more worried about The Donald running as an indie and pulling a Parot.

I don't think he was ever in. Not really. Boost ratings for the show and get a better deal from NBC.
