Gamefly has already shipped my copy, should have it today or tomorrow. The previews look excellent, and I really like their expressive face tech.

I'm not big on the idea of playing a crime drama, especially in an old setting, but I may pick this game up just for the amazing animations I've seen. The facial expressions are in a league of their own.

Looks kind of cool. I'll wait til someone else reviews.

As a resident of L.A. and our old architecture (at least what remains), I'd love to take a look at it. But I'm sure I don't have a machine that will even come close to running it.

No interest?!

I've been watching this game's production with great interest for at least a year and a half. It is my second-most anticipated game of 2011.

It looks hella awesome. And I hate the word hella. That's how awesome it looks.

I really enjoy Rockstar's games. They are always very surprisingly rich and deep than what the average Joe Media believes. I also like that the character you play is actually a good guy, through and through. On top of that, throw in some serious CSI puzzle solving and interrogation (with great looking innovative actor facial captures), and you have a game I can't wait to try.

But my wallet can wait a few days, unfortunately.

Game choice came down to this game and The Witcher 2...the Witcher 2 won. I'll pick it up eventually, though.

The reviews I've seen are overall very positive. The only negatives I've heard are

- Can be a little repetitive (as long as it's not Assassin's Creed 1 repetitive, I'll be fine)
- When a shoot-out happens, when you shoot you shoot to kill. There is no option for maiming and jailing. (Eh, I'm fine with that. Too much work on the coders and writers, I can understand)
- The ending isn't very good. Though, other reviews state that the ending is great and fits the game well. *shrug*

The pros tend to outweigh all of the cons in the reviews I've seen. That's good enough for me.

360 version is 3 disc long, co-worker picked it up on his lunch, I am also looking forward to giving this a try, but as Raltar said...The Witcher 2 is first, once I play through that, this is definately on my list. IMHO RPG's > *

I've not experienced anything like it in terms of game play.

its pretty damn awesome. Do NOT go in expecting a GTA IV or RDR experience. Those who have, are horribly let down. Those that recognize how unique of an experience this is, are having an amazing time.

This was on my must buy list for the past year. Unfortunately, for the last year I didn't notice it's not being released any time soon, if at all, on PC.

Yeah, unfortunately that's kind of Rockstar's MO at this point. They'll release it for consoles, and port it over much, much later, after they've made all their console money.

My 360 copy came in today, but after doing some reading at work (and looking at the screenshots on Lens of Truth, I've returned it, and ordered the PS3 version. Should arrive tomorrow.

And the PS3 version comes with the bonus content too: working with real life detectives to solve the Case of Your Stolen Identity.

Lots of reports that this game has been overheating older PS3 models. Some reports from xbox users getting overheating issues too, but it seems to be mostly a problem with older PS3s.

Rockstar put a page up detailing the PS3 issue, but it then quickly vanished.

That lens of truth site never really convinces me one way or the other. Those PS3 screenshots just look darker, not better.

There's a few shots where some light refraction isn't as obvious and the draw distance not going out as far.

That said, the 360 game still looks great and you wouldn't be sad for owning it.

Plus your xbox has a much lower chance of bursting into flames.
