The show is called "Once Upon A Time"

Quote:
Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (Lost, Tron:Legacy) invite you to a bold new vision of the world where fairytales and the modern day are about to collide.

Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) knows how to take care of herself. She's a 28-year-old bail bonds collector who's been on her own ever since she was abandoned as a baby. But when the son she gave up years ago finds her, everything will change. Henry (Jared Gilmore) is 10 years old now and in desperate need of Emma's help. Henry believes that Emma actually comes from an alternate world ... and is Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and Snow White's (Ginnifer Goodwin) missing daughter. According to his book of fairytales, they sent her away to protect her from the Evil Queen's (Lana Parilla) curse, which trapped the fairytale world forever, frozen in time. Of course Emma doesn't believe a word, but when she brings Henry back to Storybrooke, she finds herself drawn to this unusual boy and his strange New England town. Concerned for Henry, she decides to stay for a while, but she soon suspects that Storybrooke is more than it seems. It's a place where magic has been forgotten, but is still powerfully close ... where fairytale characters are alive, even though they don't remember who they once were – including the Evil Queen who is now Henry's foster mother. The epic battle for the future of all worlds is beginning, but for good to win, Emma will have to accept her destiny and fight like hell.

Brace yourself for a modern fable with thrilling twists and hints of darkness. Brimming with wonder, and filled with the magic of our most beloved fairytales, Once Upon A Time is a fitting follow up to Lost from two master storytellers.

That could be pretty good if they do it right.

Based on Lost, I would agree.

J.J. Abrams has done some good stuff (Alias, Fringe, MI3, Star Trek). Lost wasn't one of them. (i assume he's not involved in this new project.)

Don't listen to the haters, the first couple of seasons of Lost were some of the most amazing episodic television ever.

My mostest favoritest moment in TV history ever is now perpetually tied to the Shambala song.
LOST was awesome, and I can't wait to see what this new show brings.

I don't think I'd label myself a "hater". I watched every damn episode of that show and I have never, ever been so disappointed after finishing a story. Not at the end of a book, not at the end of a magazine article, not at the end of a tv show or movie. Never have I been so disappointed. The writers can justify the ending they made with whatever bullshit reasons they want, but the truth is they got caught up in everything they created and didn't have time to finish it all.

Really, Lenas? Why were you disappointed and what were you expecting, if I might ask?
I wasn't quite sure what to expect at the end, but it made sense to me.

What surprised me most about Lost was the number of my friends that actually really enjoyed the ending. Lost was a show on 2 levels, one was the sci-fi/supernatural content, and the other was the characters. The people that were in the show for the characters really loved the ending. The people that were in it looking for an answer for their questions hated it. I personally did not like the ending when I first saw it (I was in it for the explanation), but after reflecting on it some it's still a very well crafted story, and the first few tight seasons of writing were excellent.

I love Lost, I even got the complete series on DVD... It was the best thing on tv and still gets to me when I think about the end. Loved it.
