(In rough order)
Oh ****, look at those mountains.
Thank you for informing me not to pick up hitchhikers due to nearby correctional facility.
This stretch of I-70 has fast idiots and slow idiots just like my home stretch.
I think that was a chop shop.
These people all appear to be vagrants.
There's a lot of graffiti on these buildings.
This must be the day laborer hiring hall.
The hotel is much nicer than I expected.

Yeah, they are pretty wonderful mountains there, even if I've only seen them in photographs and a layover once in the airport.
Don't pick up hitchhikers, ever. Unless you know them personally and are nowhere near a prison.
Like everyone's home stretch.
You were driving through an industrial area weren't you?
Denver has some fine hotels, reportedly.

Now schedule a few hours for yourself, drive up to Da Kind Soup, have a great meal and say hi to Taamar.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to do that. I'm attending a business conference downtown, and even the evenings are booked.

That's a shame, it's only about 40 minutes out, and the most beautiful drive ever. And if you take an afternoon to yourself you can drive the highest paved road in the US to the top of Mt Evans (14,265ft) and be literally breathless.

There are higher than expected percentages of crippled/differently abled/amputees and women with >DD breasts. I do not know if the two are related.
