I don't know hockey well enough to give any analysis except to say, wow, the Broons are playing with a lot of energy right now. We'll see if they can keep it up back in Vancouver. If they can the Canucks had better step it up.

Boston is in a tizzy right now; people wearing Bruins jerseys are getting random cheers on the streets. With the Sox sweeping the Yankers (*and* in first place) the hub is rockin'. Too bad the C's aren't still in it. (Go Mavs!)

At this rate, Boston's going to outscore Vancouver 4:1 and lose the series.

Depends, are you a doctor specializing in sports medicine?

This has been a difficult series for me to watch. Because I hate Vancouver, but I also hate Boston sports fans. It's really hard for me to choose a side. Either way, I win because people I hate are going to be upset...but at the same time, I can't win because people I hate are going to win.

Game 6 of the NBA finals when Queen James gets beat.

Let's say the Canucks win 1-0 tomorrow night*. Who's the MVP? None of the Canucks have been playing great on offense so do you give it to Luongo? Vancouver won games 1-0, 3-2, 1-0, and 1-0, which sure looks like outstanding goal-tending, but he's been embarrassed in Boston and has been pulled twice. I don't remember any series where someone was so brilliant in half the games and so amazingly awful in the others.

If Boston wins then Thomas is the easy MVP. I'll pump his tires.

* I'm totally rooting for the Broons and hope they crush the Canucks, making all of this moot. This is just a hypothetical.

If the Canucks win 1-0 tomorrow, what kind of horrific reverse point differential record would that be?

No one from Vancouver has played well enough to earn the MVP. I think, even if Vancouver wins, Tim Thomas is the Conn Smythe winner.

Yep. They've given the CS to the losing goaltender before, and I imagine they'll do it again.

Kesler had a run going for it there for awhile, but he's dropped off lately.

Vancouver really wasn't hungry enough tonight! They gave up before the first puck was dropped!

Was looking forward to a good game 7, not the snoozefest that I saw tonight. :(

Congrats Bruins!

And the rioting already started, honestly some times I wish the police would just crack heads during sports riots.

I would have expected that from Boston fans.

Not the Canadians.

You've forgotten that we have corrupted the Canadian youth, they want to be hip like the fans in major American cities.

You've forgotten that rowdy sports fans in the US are amateurs compared to rowdy sports fans in the rest of the civilized world. Except for LA.

Absolutely embarrasing, but to be fair, it was probably a very small minority participating in this.

I got called in to work last evening unfortunately, so I missed the first 2 perids, and from the sounds of it, the only entertaining portion of the game. We had landed in time to catch the 3rd period, and I had some friends texting me the score about 5 minutes into the 2nd period, as we got back into cellular range. Soemtimes Game 7s are snoozefests as Lydiia said, oh well!

I still think the Bos-Mon series was the most entertaining of the playoffs.

I would expect this kind of **** after a soccer game in Europe somewhere or in LA after a Laker game...but holy ****, Canada? Regardless, these kinds of riots are **** pathetic.

EDIT:

And what's up with that guy's sign? He censored himself? What the ****?

Umad?

Boston sports fans are the most knowledgeable, involved, and appreciative group of fans in the country. Athletes love coming here to play because of how passionate those of us who fill the stadiums are. We don't ever **** riot. We may occasionally drink too much celebrating the many championships of our many championship franchises, and post our joy on message boards at 2:30 in the morning, only to be scolded by self-important douche-bags. But we don't riot.

Besides, you only riot for rare events. Winning championships in Boston is a regular occurrence!

I can't wait to go to Boston and see some sports there...Fenway is one of those "bucket list" stadiums for me.

Meh...

The Patriots cheat
The Red Sox are now the Yankees
No one gives a crap about hockey
The Celts are the only thing I like about Boston
