The midget is still around! I like him. And at this point I'm hoping that one of the other Lanisters (any of them) gets a hot poker right in the corn hole. I HATE THE LANISTERS! Except for the midget. He's cool.
At this point, I'm sticking around hoping that something bad happens to one of them, and also because I really like the Khaleesi storyline...well, up until this past episode where I'm not exactly sure where the heck they are going with it. I'm hoping she like walks through fire or something dragon-like to prove some mystical powers or some crap like that.
I will be upset when/if she is killed off because I've already decided that if I have a girl baby some day I am going to name her Khaleesi.

You really need to read the books Kate.

Ned's not the only interesting character.

He was in the show. Everyone else I either wanted them to die a painful death for doing bad **** to Ned or I didn't care about them. Maybe the books makes other characters more interesting, but...the show didn't do a very good job for me.

The show dropped the ball a bit, in that it waited too long to start building interest in Robb. Catelyn also comes across as a less sympathetic character; in the books, those two characters are where most of Ned's reader goodwill and support gets shifted to.

I kinda like Jon, too...but he's not really in a position to make a difference in anything because of his vows to the Night's Watch. I don't see him becoming a major political figure any time soon.

I keep telling her this. I couldn't find my copy of Game of Thrones but I have all the others. She has no excuse.

At least I finished a George R.R. Martin book. I've never made it more than 10 pages into a Robert Jordan novel before throwing it away it disgust.

Dammit Khross!! There's probably nothing in that spoiler tag and you're just messing with me....I'm still not clicking on it though.

I'll be back next week after the next episode when hopefully people will STOP SPEAKING IN SPOILERS!!!

Meh. I'll believe the tough guy thing when he takes a first aid kit from the bar and orders another drink after his beheading. Otherwise, I'd say the roles he plays are tougher than him, still.

Spoiler:
Seeing as it's been...good Lord almost 15 years since I read the first book...is the show following how the book played out? I forgot if when Ned was killed and the war really took off...if that was toward the end of the book or somewhere in the middle.

Nitefox, whenever I do a re-read, it always surprises me how much earlier it comes than I expected it to. But the show's been shuffling some chapters around to keep episodes covering different storylines more evenly.
