I support local standards for decency/appropriateness.

If the folks in Jersey want Buck Foston's then they can easily exert political pressure at the local level.

If the argument against the bar's name were something about not wanting to incense Boston fans into acts of protest, I might back him. Deliberately pissing on one's rivals can potentially backfire in a huge way. If the reasoning is purely one of decency, I'm with the guy who said "what about Cluck U?".
