So I posted a while back about racial stereotyping against police. Some schmuck tried to insist that it wasn't racism when it was based on profession, but let's think about racism for a moment. It's hating someone based on arbitrary differences.

Now, I've noticed when I'm driving behind some schmuck who won't go the speed limit, or stuck behind the same schmuck who can't find their gas pedal when the light turns green, that I hate them. Often times, I will note a political bumper sticker that makes me hate them just that little bit more.

I hated people with Bush/Cheney stickers.
I hated people with Gore 2000 stickers.
I hated people with those stupid stylized W stickers.
I hated people with those "Four more years!" stickers.
I hated people with Kerry/Edwards stickers.
I hated people with McCain/Palin stickers.
I hate people with Obama/Biden stickers.

So now I'm getting really excited over who I'll get to hate next year. I'm sure I'll continue to hate Obama/Biden assholes, but will the Republicans follow through? Will they provide me with an election year of marvelous hating people? It's making me all fuzzy.

Racism isn't hating someone based on an arbitrary difference. If that was true, we'd have almost no racism. I mean, under that definition, you're not racist if you think black people are no better than dogs. People like dogs.

Only a very, very few people actually hate black people simply because their skin color is black. Racists hate black people because of what they think the black skin color implies about them as a person....they're stupid, violent, criminal, etc.

Black people commit many more crimes on average. There's a stereotype for a reason.

I don't think so. Democrats and Republicans have different colored skin. I'd rather come up with racial slurs for them than try to think of a new "ism" label. I'm leaning towards **** for Democrats, but I'm kinda stumped for Repugnicans.

Care to elaborate? Not everyone who own ones is a tree hugging hippy. They do tend to get better gas mileage so this also makes them attractive to other people for financial reasons.

While that's true, most hybrid cars have far more instrumentation that gives you spontaneous feedback so you can improve your driving techniques.

I have been squeezing 50MPG out of a CR-Z on my way to work through the hills of Pennsylvania. Most of it is due to the new feedback.

And you couldn't possibly hate someone who drove this:

That is such a pretty car though... maybe it'll want to come home with me and ... er... have dinner

I hate drivers other than me. But you know what I hate worse? Anyone on or near a road that isn't driving (bicyclists, pedestrians, small children playing, etc.).
