Well, I had some ice cream. One of our managers is leaving today, and they gave us cake and ice cream. I like McFlurries; only once have I been denied my McFlurry goodness. I wasn't told the machine was broken, I was told that they ran out of ice cream.

And guys, try to chill a bit, mmkay?

To be honest, there are only two things I'll eat from there: French Fries and their icecream products. Actually, the apple pies and cookies are fine, too, since those are baked fresh every day(well, at least at the one I worked at...maybe I shouldn't assume the same of all of them).

I still don't understand those who say McDs has the best tasting french fries.

Worst on my list. I'd rather have fries from Wendys than McDs.

Oooooo me too!! I love the new Wendy's fries with the seasalt....NF puts McD's fries at the top of his list, but I like my fries thicker and slightly less crunchy. I like them more potato-ey.

I don't like thick fries. I prefer them thin and crunchy. If I wanted mushy potato, I'd have one. Carl's Jr. used to have awesome fries...then they changed them and they suck.

McDonalds is the only place that still generously salts their fries. I could go and order a super size fry with nothing else and be 100% happy. Also, no you can't salt your own damn fries! It has to be done straight out of the fryer or you're failing massively.

The last couple of times I visited the McDonalds in the mall, the fries were rather unsalted. I don't know if this reflects a change in corporate policy or just the local McDonalds I visited.

Well, I dunno about everywhere, but here, they have to list the calorie, fat, and sodium contents on their menu, so I think they are a little less liberal with the salt these days.. at least around here...

McDonald's fries number one. Wendy's are a very close second though.
Burger King fries suck ***.
Hardee's probably 3rd best.

I hate McD's everything. Well, okay, maybe their breakfast items are okay on the run.....but other than that, blech.

For fast food ice cream, I prefer Sonic's Reeses PB Blast.
For home made, I use

No, don't say that. Having worked there, I can tell you the breakfast is the most putrid of all the menu items. Don't eat breakfast there. Just don't.

I remember seeing the sausage and bacon swimming in a lake of grease on the flat grills. Emptying those grease traps was easily the most disgusting job there.

TBH, I don't eat there at all. I would go to McD's only as a last resort, or if the only option is KFC.

The part that grossed me out the most was the eggs. Ugh. I don't eat eggs anymore unless I cook them myself.

Yeah, I remember going there years ago after I got off night shift at work. I got egg Mcwhatever it is.....and first bit had egg shell all in it. I spit it out and threw the whole bag away.

LK, you are setting yourself up here. If you like them, don't ask him to tell you what you don't want to hear... you know it can't be good :P

So, appropriately enough, my father tells me those ice cream machines are called 'electric dogs'.... where you lift the tail and out comes the ice cream. '**** machines' indeed!

Oh see, I'm well aware! Hahaha! I absolutely LOVE those sausage burritos...but they are so bad for you. If someone can tell me something bad about them then maybe I won't want to eat them anymore. I have a feeling they are premade and frozen and then thawed out, but I can't be sure.

I'm about 99.99% sure they didn't have those when I worked there. So I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about them except if they have eggs, you should really give them up.

LK, get a blender and make your own. Usually cheaper and better that way, after the blender cost is eliminated.

Getting used to my new keyboard is annoying me. Logitech G110, not a fan yet.

I think he's talking about the mcflurry. Which is surprisingly easy to make with a blender, some ice cream and whatever topping you want. I haven't had a McFlurry in a long time, but the last time I did, they had 3 toppings(butterfinger, oreo and m&ms), so technically you can make an even better one with toppings McDonalds doesn't offer. Or you can just go get a Blizzard from DQ, which are better than McFlurries.

Unfortunately, the nearest DQ to them is over 50 miles away,

And yes, they are better.
