I thought some one tried to do a Batman, where Alfred was actually Bruce's father, and the Wayne's are degenerate druggies?

Maybe it should be a separate topic, but what in your opinion(s) are the dumbest retcons in comic history. My brain still screams over one more day and fall out from that.

Bane is lame. I think a Riddler might have been a better choice or, I dunno anything else...

You mean other than he's a bad villain from a bad story arc and a bad "character killing" event?

You need 3 movies to make Bane work as a movie villain.

a) There has to be an "Oh **** Everyone's Escaped from Arkham" movie.

b) There has to be a Joker crowbarring Jason Todd in the brain pain movie.

c) There has to be a Bane movie where Batman loses.

And, see, that's the thing ... You can't actually have Batman lose in a 2 hour movie. You can't have him re-incarcerating his entire Rogue's Gallery in about 6 weeks of time with no sleep, no rest, no Robin ...

Because ... the Joker crowbarred Jason Todd's skull.

The only issue I have is that goofy-looking mouthpiece on Bane. Maybe it'll make sense in the full film.
