When the Universe was born, God, exhausted from his labors, lost cohesion and the billions and trillions of parts of God descended onto the earth. They inhabit every living thing, indeed life could not exist without them. Even an amoeba has one shard of god. The shards of God accumulate in the higher life forms, and in some cases they coalesce to form a great spirit.
When one dies, their God shards, which we humans use the term soul to describe the groups of God shards inside us, drift apart and can be accumulated by nearby beings, or they may ascend to the clouds to be dropped within the rain where they will find more life to inhabit, to nurture, to make wise.
Children are usually very good at gathering shards, an unconscious act that no one knows how to describe, but the children do it naturally, by instinct. Fools do not gather shards, usually there is something wrong with them, and there bodies have forgotten how.
Artists may gather immense numbers of shards, but their bodies do not know how to bring them to harmony, and the artists are driven by this chaos to bring art into the world.
There are other examples of various types of people and their shards and the way they interact, but know this, we are all part of God and as such, anytime we do harm to another, we are hurting God, and therefore, ourselves.
Karma exists, get used to it.
There, I created another religion for someone to embrace, have fun. Start with a concept then explain how the world works around it. Cons do it all the time.
