I live in a suburb of Seattle.. have almost all of my life except for the time I spent in the Air Force...

I haven't watched this video yet (I'm at work.. will try to watch later).

Harp Guitars have existed since the 1800's (if that's what this is)

Finally got a chance to watch the video.

As cool and awesome as that work is, he no more invented that guitar than BMW invented the car.

Harp guitars (guitars with multiple courses of multiple strings) have been around for over a hundred years. While I can't say for certain someone besides him created one with exactly 27 strings, many very similar instruments have been made.
