Sadly, I'm not joking.

This could be good, or this could be really, really, really bad.

Carlin's dead, Keanu's too expensive and too old, it would have to be a remake, not a sequel.

What, this would be the Wild Stallions after they got better? Don't think so Tim.

Yeah, not holding out any hope either.

The first one is on my all-time Top 5 favorite movies ever created in the history of the multiverse. The second one... well, it should have never been made.

How I feel about a remake is that I expect to like "Bogus Journey" more than it. I am not certain who I need to silently assassinate to keep this project from moving forward, but I will find out.*

Don't care for the first two, pretty sure I won't care about this one. *shrug*

is nothing sacred?

Doesn't Hollywood know that they're allowed to just make a movie and let it stand alone without sequels or remakes?

Wait...Bill and Ted had a sequel??

Probably, but I'm doubting the Bill and Ted franchise qualifies...

Bogus Journey had it's moments, I will admit. And it can be charming and funny in its own way.

But the first is just so much better, in my mind.

"I'm gonna need the stupid hat and stupid beard back."

"As you can see, Genghis Khan loves twinkies because of the excellent sugar rush."

"You ditched Napoleon?!"
"He was a dick!"

"Things are more moderner than before. Bigger..... and yet.... smaller. These computers..... SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL RULES!"

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is on Comedy Central while I'm working from home today. I had forgotten how good it is (and how much better it is than the 2nd one.)

"Ted, strange things are afoot at the Circle-K."

This also reminded me of my favorite review of Bogus Journey ever.

My grandfather took me to see it for my 13th birthday. After admirably sitting through the entire film, my grandmother picked us up at the theater.

Grandma: "How was it?"
13 year old me: "It was pretty awesome."
Grandma (to grandpa): "What did you think of it?"
Grandpa: "It was like having a bad dream that I just couldn't wake up from."

Smart one, my grandpa. :)

To Beethoven: "Are you a musician?"

"My name is Sigmund Freud, but you may call me Siggy."

But I think one of my favorite parts has to be watching the relationship form between Socrates and Billy the Kid, which you can generally catch glimpses of often in the background.
