Whenever I feel the need for a nap (rare), I try to take no more than 20 minutes. I don't ever fall asleep during the day and no matter how tired I am feeling, a short 20 minute nap always leaves me feeling like my batteries have been fully recharged.

This must be Thursday. I could never get the hang of Thursdays.

During the work week I take a 20 min nap almost every day usually about 2:00.
Finishing out the day is much easier and the any stress is cleared up. My employees call it meeting time. It's good for me and good for them. They often hold impromptu meetings to discuss their different projects and pick each others brains for ideas.
