Just found and read this article.

It was written by a gal where she basically meets the world champion of magic the gathering and in so many words posts that she's proud of the fact that she's too good for this guy and that he needs to get a life. And the most infuriating part is that she is posting it on gizmodo. Yeah, what a great place to post about how nerds are all losers.

I don't know if she's really that much of a shallow *****, or if she's just smart enough to get a massive amount of hits. But I am going to bet on the former.

If I had went on a date with a lady who confided in me that she was the world champion in hairdressing or My Little Pony designs, I would think to myself, "Well, I am not into that stuff. But I think that it's awesome that she is the number one person in the world at it! In her circle, she's a celebrity! Sweet!"

I think she passed up on a guy who wasn't going to treat her like a whore (the kind she probably gravitates to) and the Magic dude dodged a huge bullet.

I think it's mostly for the attention.

She didn't even talk to him after their second date...she just wrote a nasty article about him and posted it online. She didn't even have the decency to let him know beforehand.
There's a reason why that chick is still single, and it's not the guys she is dating....

It's a possibility. There seems to be a trend over the past few years of people creating a villian-status for themselves in order to get their name out there. She may be trying to launch her career with this....if that's the case, she's an even bigger ***** than I thought.

She's getting way too much publicity over this, and I agree it's probably what she wants. I will do the worst thing in the world that could ever happen to this lady: I am going to forget her name and not care about anything she does.

Being number one at Magic, even if it's 'geeky', is just awesome and impressive. She's a total *****. I bet she isn't number one at anything, or even close.

I'm torn between sharing this (because that's, y'know, what the internet is for), and not sharing it, to avoid giving this dipshit more publicity.

I'll opt for the latter.

It's been my experience that everyone on the planet falls into that category.

In person she might be a very nice lady, but the article certainly makes her seem like a *****. I guess, after thinking about this some more, it's not fair judge her as a person only based on that.

I judge people by their actions, which is a far better measuring stick than most. And her actions make her a shallow *****.

I don't think anyone thinks she's a ***** because she doesn't want to date him.

She's a ***** for acting like the guy is somehow beneath her standards, and doing it in such a public way.

She's a ***** because she did this in such a public way. I don't dig that.

She's normal if she finds something in another person that she doesn't care for and it doesn't make said person attractive to her.
