Btw, if you didn't already know, she's half of The Civil Wars, who are bloody incredible (and who I pimped here). :D

Huh, I didn't know that. Incidentally, I have that same belt that she was wearing in the video you posted...I bought it in New Orleans while I was there with NF for a Mumford & Sons concert...which is what that thread started out about...heh, randomness.

I like her voice, but not sure I like The Civil Wars based on that one song...I do like the premise behind the song though and her on the piano and him on the guitar...just didn't grab me though. I'll go watch some more.

*edit* Ok I watched the second video you posted too...didn't really care for it either. They are both extremely talented, but I just like her by herself, not as a duo. I wanted to like it though!

/\ That's on of those songs that was used so iconically in film that I can't think of anything but Reservoir Dogs when I hear it.

Heard this on the Radio on my way to work this morning..

I love the guitar riffs and bass line in this tune..

Definitely qualifies as an ear bug..

Rocking out to some Hendrix today, and these two are stuck in my head.

One of my favorites - "Gypsy Blood"

The sounds of Nirvana, two decades early - "Send My Love to Linda" (outtake)

Jeff Bridges just played with his band "The Abiders" at a Winery here in town.

It was a pretty decent show.
