yeah, wow, fun game. I missed the last drive, though, moving furniture ... but saw the goal line stand on the last play. Pretty cool.

Two touchdowns, 170 yards, tied an NFL record for longest kickoff return, and it was at home so he got in two Lambeau Leaps.

Not a bad first game for Cobb.

Wow, thanks, I hadn't seen that. What a great run. Take that, Devin Hester! :P

I'm very close to getting my man-card revoked, given my spotty performance in actually watching the game. Should have signed the Pro Football Prenup.

Edit: Thanks to Kairtane for the heads up.

Looks like thanks to the Bears performance I'll scrounge a week 1 win for my otherwise horrible team.

Sorry Numbuk!

Meh, I roll with what I get since I don't get to have two really awesome pocket picks unlike 80% of everyone else. Still not sure how I feel about joining a league with that kind of handicap.

Though it looks like Cam Newton whom I picked up a while back as a bench QB may have been fortuitous. It's too bad I did not play him.

It evens itself out. There were plenty of quality guys available for you to draft before any of us got to pick to level the playing field. Personally, I'm wishing I had dropped both my players and started from scratch(entertaining offers for Chris Johnson anyone!!)

Cam looked like the real deal to be honest. I'd watch starting him against quality defenses though.

I'm still with Numbuk. Knowing that the best players of the league were already off of the table before the draft begin killed the interest in even showing up to the draft.

Guys, the league and draft are what you make of it. I was also an expansion team, and I put on a clinic this week against our easy woodland friend, who also had one hell of a week.

These things tend to even themselves out over time. I wouldn't trade my roster for anyone else's protections or otherwise.

I hate looking at my stats and seeing 0 points next to a RB. That is a huge position for FF. I got lucky this week with Wes Welker.

I'd rather see one with zero instead of three with 4, 3, 4. :(

I won in my other league because of his monster night. I was up two and with Welker in play and he had Orton. Orton had a soso game and Welker went crazy.

I was a bit discouraged at first with most of the good players being gone as "keepers," but I'm pretty happy with my team now. In my league last year, I had a terrible draft and wound up winning because I got a lot of good pickups off the waivers. I don't think the draft is that important.

The only disappointing thing about the keepers is that all the star QBs were unavailable, but last year I drafted Brett Favre... so I'm used to having a second-tier QB. =P

I think it's time for the Chargers to make another appearance in the SB this year.

I don't know that a close victory against an anemic Vikings team is much of an indicator, Lenas. This week will be much more telling.

WOOT! Lions beat bad teams, two times in a row. The Leo's were killer for me yesterday. Sorry Hop.
