We all know you're just a fair weather fan who'll be back to hurling D-Cells as soon as your Phillies blow it in the post-season.

Ouch. That hurts. There are many things I may be, but a fair weather fan is not one of them. Born and bred a Philadelphia fan my whole life. Sure, we may be a harsh fanbase, but one thing we don't do is turn on or teams.

Phillies, Flyers, and Eagles (I hate basketball, so you can have the Sixers) I thought it possible one time in my life to root for another team, but it just isn't in my blood.

And come on now, I see no reason to believe they are going to choke this post-season. They are just firing on all cylinders and I don't see any real weaknesses in the lineup right now.

Your hate of all things Philly leaves me no choice but to relentlessly harangue you. Philly teams have sucked for so long (and I have stood by them through it all), I deserve a chance to rub it in.

Don't quite get this, though. Don't know what makes it personal to you. I don't give a crap what team you support, New York, Detriot, Boston, Atlanta...doesn't make an ounce of difference to me. I just enjoy some friendly ribbing of those who support a team that any Philadelphia team has currently beaten.

I can take it, believe me. I have for years supporting losing teams. Can you?

I don't have a problem with Boston franchises. I'm indifferent about the Bruins and Pats and the Celtics have a really storied legacy so they are pretty cool. But Red Sox fans can go anally fornicate themselves with a sideways piece of rebar.

Even for sports I do not like.. I root for my home teams, which are Boston/New England. Hell if we had a professional Jai Alai team I would root for them. Would be the same if we had a professional Air Hockey team.
