Today's FB facelift has pissed a lot of people off and several of my friends have announced their intention to migrate to G+
Way to go, FB.

On a related note...I am now on G+....I have Kirra and Arafys on there and a couple of real life peeps but no one else yet...we'll see....

I think G+ will grow to become something valuable eventually, once they integrate enough new great features. I don't know what they'd be yet. It's just not there yet to make it worthwhile compared to Facebook or Twitter. As much flak as Facebook gets, it's actually a great site that continually innovates. Some people (tech hipsters) just seem to have a bad taste for things that are mainstream. However, most people don't want to spend time on two social networks that do nearly the same thing, so G+ will need to offer something more.

I don't see them tossing it away like Buzz or Wave.

True, but Facebook is already the standard for the intrawebs. I can log in to any major portal/site using FB credentials. That's going to be a hard hump to overcome for anyone coming in.
