I think Detroit is close enough for me to change team loyalties. As for Fantasy, meh. It's all good.

I'm suddenly a huge Bills fan. Was that an amazing game against the Raiders or what? If you got to watch the game recap/highlights by the NFL Network, you were truely blessed. It was freakin hilarious as they recapped that game. Rich Eisen said at the end "I'm gonna need a throat lozenge."

Turns out that this year the story is the same as last year: the only ones stopping the Chargers are themselves :[

Turns out the only thing that can stop the Packers will be a quarterback who throws for over 500 yards. :D

Definitely an awesome game! I would have liked to seen a different outcome but at least it wasn't a blowout.

Bills & Lions are definitely a cool story this year. I'd somehow love for the Bills to manage to win their division just to turn things around. I could see the Lions making a wild card run if they keep it up.

With that said, I'm curious to see if Eagles management will decide to drown Vick if he doesn't heal quick enough for them.

Hah, I know, I kind of hesitated to type that. But, I have absolutely no control or voodoo going on, so I figured it was OK.

The Lions actually worry me a bit this year. They've been quietly improving for a few years now.

Yeah in my other fantasy league, the one I am more familiar with and is easier to navigate around in, I have both Stafford and Megatron on my team. I was concerned that this could either be really awesome or really sucky, since their points are dependent on each other. That, and since I am not a normal football fan I didn't know how they would fare.

But this year the Lions are the team I am following closely and they have the backing of full Fairy Power behind them. It makes a difference, as you can see.

You've got to pay extra for that, I hear.

Last week, Vick was taken out midgame with a concussion. This week, he breaks his hand. -_-

And the Bills fans start climbing up out of the dark recesses to get on the bandwagon...

And, gratz Lions on 3-0. Well done!

Actually, I predicted a play-off run this year, given the huge improvements to our front 7 heading into this season after spending all of last year adapting to the 3-4. I also saw no small amount of potential in Fitzy, as he has improved drastically every season since breaking into the league never once exhibiting a ceiling for his potential as well as being extraordinarily bright and hard working in breaking down opposing defenses quickly. He has a very similar skill set to Tom Brady.

I will say, it's been nice to have something to cheer about this year.

While I have always seemed to have your number in the past no matter how good or bad my team is, this year I think I'll be everyone's doormat.

Sorry Kirra. :(

The most shocking thing to me this fantasy season is in my work's league. We have a guy who is notorious for never signing in and checking his team after signing up, but still likes to sign up every year because hey, it's easy and it supports your coworker friends.

Usually, because of his management style (lack thereof) his team slips and falls towards last place fairly quickly.

This year? His team is dominating. And not by a small margin. All three of his games were over 200 points, this last one hit a record 242. Our league is scored a little different than espn, as we have actual defensive players and the point system differs. When a QB scores a 30 on ESPN, it's more around 54 here. So to put it in ESPN terms, his last three games have been over 160-ish, with his latest a 200 or 210.

It's insane. And the funniest thing is, I doubt he even knows it yet.
