I have my king bed all to myself, so I can roll where I want, no one stealing the covers and me waking up freezing

No snoring

Toilet seat is always down

I can sing in the shower without criticism.

No complaints that I don't cook.

Having a nice routined life, without anyone there to stuff it up.

Not having anyone to blame when you do something stupid.

But, most important thing of all... I don't have to share my yummy green tea ice cream!

I get to buy whatever I want - invest in whatever I want.

My schedule is my own to do with as I wish with my life.

If I am unhappy with any situation I find myself in I can just up and leave.

Not being single, I can only provide the "sacrifices" of being in a relationship. That's kind of like the benefits of being single, right?

Scheduling every damn thing. Can never just... go.

Partner is a planner, so trips are overly planned.

There's no way I'd be working this hard if I didn't have a family. I'd play a lot more.

Hanging out with friends comes second (or fifth or sixth).

Can't just make a damn decision. Must committee.

So, reverse those and they are positives for single.

Don't have to get out of bed until I want, on the weekend.

No arguments about which movie to see.

No one whining about me not doing my chores.

No strange new arts and crafts taking up half the house until all of a sudden they are forgotten, and still in the way.

No one complains about the lawn needing mowing.

I can spend my money anyway I like.

I'd give it up in a heartbeat for a good woman.

The lyrics are alright. Obviously neither Weezy nor Teddy are the greatest wordsmiths the rap game has ever seen ... I'd give that nod to Nas and I personally like Tech N9ne, TIP, and there are countless others better than them.
