The Glade 4.0

I'm a level 3 bounty hunter, Sith side. So far its the best 'starting experience' to any MMORPG that I've tried to date.

The cut scenes are great, the graphics are great, voice acting is solid. You actually feel important and reasonably powerful right away.

But that said, I'm freaking level 3. LOL

So far my biggest thing that I like, is still being able to make key decisions in the quest, that will either push me to the light side, or further to the dark side.

You'll have to let me know how it is after you're 30+. Every first character in a brand new MMO always starts out feeling awesome. But then things can start to change. And either repetitiveness sets in, or lack of content. Or both. I hope neither will happen with this game. But we shall see, Xur. We shall see!

That's not entirely true. In Rift my characters all felt awful until about level 15-20

I bailed on that game pretty early. You're right that that game didn't feel that way.

Update after a few weeks.

Seems to be a fairly well polished MMO that doesn't stray very far from say WoW's "winning" formula. Everything it does seems to work well enough. If you want a Star Wars game with a nice working MMO standard mechanics, this will probably be for you. If you were hoping for something to be a bit different from things you've already experienced, this may not be for you.

I will say, I thought the voice acting cut scenes for all the quests were neat at first. But anymore I find myself just mashing space to get through them quicker so I can get back to actually playing.

There was never any shadow of a doubt in my mind that this would be any other way. It's a novelty, and like all novelties it will wear off eventually.

Oh I totally believe it will be released on that day. Lucasarts pushes stuff out for Christmas. What I believe will be is that it will be undercooked, like other lucasarts games that have been released early for Christmas.
