I drink only soda when I'm not at work. When I'm at work, I drink only coffee because it's free there (except lunch when I might get soda).

If I wasn't drinking diet, it would be way too many calories.

This is actually really, really good. I LOVE regular Dr. Pepper, but had to give it up because of all the sugar and calories in it. I've been drinking Diet Dr. Pepper for a while now, but it's just not the same, no matter how much they tell you, "It's just like regular Dr. Pepper." It's not even close. But it's okay for a diet soda.

But this 10 calorie Dr. Pepper is the $h!t. It's awesome, and tastes oh so very close to the original. I can actually drink my Dr. Pepper again! The problem is, it will never catch on in restaurants. I mean Diet Dr. Pepper and Coke Zero have been out for years, and I'm just now starting to see a handful of places that serve them.

Yeah, the only diet drink 99% of places serve is diet coke/pepsi. I'm not a fan of cola drinks, diet or otherwise.

Soda makes me feel all gasy. I drink water mostly.

Yeah, Diet Dr. Pepper isn't exactly the same. It's close and drinkable, but no blind taste test will have it pass.

My Dr. Pepper palate is pretty refined. I am one of the few who actually noticed a difference in taste when they changed their logo back in late 1996. They changed their ingredients at the same time too (they dropped three ingredients: lactic acid, polyethelene glycol, and.... uh I forget). It was pretty close, but it wasn't fooling me or a select other few.

I, and another friend of mine, were invited to try a blind taste test with the new and the old at a New Year's party that year. He and I nailed the new and the old every time. For me, it was easy. One of them reminds of me playing Zelda 2 (played that game and had my first Dr. Pepper on the same day). The other reminds me of working for AOL.

I don't drink much Dr. Pepper anymore because of the latter. :D
