Corgi's will tire you out quickly. First with going B2TW about everything, then dragging you around the block or through the park, then loving you until every visible inch of you has been licked ten times (keep it clean, it ain't dirty).

You might be able to handle one Katie, the kids might be able to keep up with it. Nitefox, he needs his sleep between work and you :-) already.

She's got one. Bringing home ancient items and presenting them to Nitefox to see his reaction.

I was hoping we'd get a few more "surprised Nitefox" photos out of the encyclopedias and fridge.

Chihuahuas are feeder dogs. Get another real canine. :)

You deserve a rottweiler's weight in Chihuahuas

Get some Nintendogs instead. It's cheaper and poops less.

Get an English Mastiff...on top of just being great dogs they're actually pretty awesome indoor dogs, too.

Its poops will be about the size of a chihuahua, so I guess you could give them names and pretend they're awful little ratdogs ;)

Ha! :) We have some friends who have 3 south african Mastiffs and they are HUGE. I have never seen a bigger beast in my life. I've seen smaller cattle.
There's a lady selling English Mastiffs in our area, but she wants an arm and a leg for them.

I like the two dogs we have...I want a small lap dog that I can force to wear silly sweaters and carry around. :D

I have thought this, but my stepson just lost a dachshund and I think he would get upset and see another one as a "replacement." Miniature dachshunds are sooooo cute though....

No dog should ever be subjected to this sort of public shaming.

Chihuahuas are hard to train, not because they are stupid, but because they enjoy the pain and suffering they instill on you when they've destroyed another one of your favourite things. Say no to the evil things, even if they are fluffy and have those gorgeous big eyes... :psyduck:

Have you thought about a shi-tzu? Mine lets me do almost anything to it, including putting pink bows and security t-shirts on it... of course it also has a permanent, i hate my life look too but meh =P

No to the chihuahua. Very unpleasant breed. If there are affable chihuahuas, I haven't run across it yet.

As spastic as Chihuahuas are, they take up a ton of room. Five square inches for the dog, plus the rest of the house for where the dog just was or will be.

This is the way the new kitten currently is.

Get a Japanese Chin. They are great indoor dogs(only indoors, only let them out to go to the bathroom or to walk them). We have 3 of them. Unfortunately our oldest passed away a week ago.

When it comes to small dogs, I have a soft spot for Chinese Crested. My aunt had two powderpuffs (so not hairless ones, which, I agree, are weird as heck), and they were sweet dogs with great temperments and a lot of love to share.

Here's to hoping she's not done yet, and we get more opportunities.
