For what it's worth, check your inbox. Another wave of Weekend invites started going out yesterday for this weekend's East Coast server test.

Also, it appears that when I said a good chance of getting serially reinvited, that was a one-time deal for the first weekend beta, for whom there were a ton of issues that prevented lots of 'em from getting it working, so they reinvited pretty much the whole first weekend to the second weekend.

Yea, I got my invite for this weekend. Great timing, Bioware! I've been waiting for a beta invite for months, and you finally send me one when my gaming rig is completely out of commission. And on the weekend that I'm going to Vegas, no less.

Woohoo! I did get an invite, and the wife is out of town.

Hmm. At the end of the weekend, we should probably assess whether we've got enough Gladers interested (and like-minded enough on things like faction/server type) in SW:TOR to warrant doing a Glade guild. If so, Bioware's got a neat pre-launch guild system going on that we could jump on.

My wife got one. And all I can say is THANK GOD! She will be completely absorbed into that game for three straight days, which will leave me pure alone time with Skyrim.

It's probably best I didn't get another invite this go-around. Or else I'd have to ignore it a second time, but this time on purpose.

I got an email this afternoon say that I've been selected, and I will get an invite. Hopefully it'll be next weekend, when I'm back home.

Yeah, got the same email. Not sure what to make of that. Their site appears to be getting hammered, alternating between the normal homepage and Scheduled Maintenance.

I know they use an RSVP system, so it *could* be that the late invite is filling in slots left open by people invited earlier who opted out this weekend. Or, it could be early invites for next weekend.

Edit: Okay, it's not this weekend they're talking about. This is the "Everybody who applied gets in!" deal that will happen later; the email address is basically just warning you off from pursuing the promotional ones they'll be passing out to gaming media sites since you're already on the list.

Played a good bit this weekend.

The Jedi Knight...got to level 10. Great. Just...fun all the way around.

The Trooper to level 5. Doomed to be beaten by a nerf bat. Maybe I was just lucky but these guys lay down some serious damage and can take a beating.

Bounty Hunter to level 5. Hermmmm Felt like the trooper to start but once I got outside of the starting city's walls, I got beaten down several times.

Sith Warrior. I can't talk about this without spoiling anything. To put my issue into City of Heroes terms. I got a Boss mob in a solo mission that was three levels higher than me. I couldn't do **** to him.

I know I've talked briefly with a couple more people who were playing last weekend, and it sounded like they were enjoying it, too.

I haven't decided on which faction to play (first?); I've got some ideas for characters on both, so it really comes down to with whom I end up playing. Likewise, if we decide to do a Glade guild, I'm open to any server type. I haven't done a PvP server in a long time, but I don't outright reject the notion.

My personal preference would be PVE server, Republic faction. I'm willing to try other options, but it depends on how annoying a PVP server is if I stay for the long haul.

I'm with Mook. My preference would be pve Republic. I am very keen to see a Glade guild. I can see going Empire for bounty hunter, I got to 10 and loved it. I did find the trooper and stock strike inordinately satisfying though.

PVE for me. That being said I played on a PvP server all weekend, mostly because there was no waiting in line.
