This is odd. My PC, laptop, and PS3 all detect my wireless network with no problems, but my 360 doesn't even register it on the list of available networks.

The only thing I have changed recently is upgrading my encryption to WPA2. Interestingly, the WPA2 option when I try to set up a network manually is greyed out on the 360. Does the 360 not support WPA2?

Any ideas on a solution?

Looks like there was an update released 10/28/2009 for WPA2 support:

Problem is -- I can't get signed into Live to download it. It won't detect my network in the first place.

Mine didnt used to do WPA2 and it now definitely does. Drop your encryption to download the update, then put it back on and reconnect.

You can't play EQ2 from the 360. What are you doing?

Eh?

So what you are saying SuiNeko is that because I have a type of encryption not (yet) supported by my 360, it is somehow masking my entire network signal from the machine itself?

Your 360 cannot communicate with the router to negotiate the connection, because the router is configured to require a communication method (encryption type) that the X-Box cannot currently understand. So, yes.
