This is utterly revolutionary!

I wonder if there is some sort of correlation between living/driving in a highly urban environment versus a more suburban/rural route that could be reflected in the price you pay for insurance...

Imagine if the map had data spanning multiple decades instead of just the last. It would make major roadways seem like cemeteries.

Wow, that's a huge amount of data. Pretty fascinating, and putting the age and sex of the victim makes it a bit more real.

And people get up in arms (pun intended) about firearm deaths. We need to ban cars not assault rifles won't someone think of the children.

This is another one of the reasons why I favor almost everybody living in a city with public transportation. Maybe nobody cares but me, but it would prevent tens of thousands of deaths per year.

It's a wonder there's anybody left alive in cities at all! Look at all the blue dots! Even the pedestrians are dying in droves!

Holy Christ, there's some scary intersections.

The intersection of 650 and 193 in MD is apparently a vehicular shooting gallery for pedestrians. For the love of God, give them a sidewalk.
