I would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy Family, Football and good food all day :)

I will be, hopefully, sitting around in ER, with just a couple of belly pain patients (from eating too much turkey)

;)

Prayers for a calm, healthy Thanksgiving day would be appreciated.

:)

I'm getting a bunch of admits tonight. Which is odd because usually we empty out before Thanksgiving, and get slammed after everyone's done eating.

Hope there's not some sort of divine stroke special going on!

Happy Thanksgiving Gladesters!

Already tried that today Kaffis. It didn't work out. I'll go hit one of the standing invitations from my any reason for a huge feast friends.

Thanks everyone. I'm thankful for most of you most of the time.

/hugs to all who would hug back.

Had a great Thanksgiving :)

ER was slow, I actually got to do my Trauma core modules on the computer! Today is my thanksgiving dinner, turkey is roasting and dinner will be done around noon! Have few people coming over to eat and help me decorate the tree and the house! My parents are flying in next week and I want to surprise them with a decorated house!

I hope the turkey isn't dry...

On another note..I got off work at 4 am and thought I would pick up a few Christmas presents, since I was up already. OMG....There was a 2 hr line to check out, at least....and the store had been open since midnight...crazy. I'm going back to my original idea of sitting in front of the computer in my PJ's with a cup of hot chocolate and ordering everything online!

Hope everyone had a wonderful day :)

I knew you were a smart girl.

Driving anywhere, and particularly anywhere within a thousand yards of a retail establishment, on Black Friday is the height of either masochism, desperation, or insanity. I've held this opinion for over a decade.

It's safe to poke your head out around 2pm or so. Doorbuster deals are sold out, so the insane-os ripping each other to shreds are gone by then.

Tiem spent in PJs with hot chocolate is always time well spent!
