They're fighting.

Already drove for six hours today and I'll be having dinner alone, because I refuse to be one of the game pieces.

Luckily, I missed most of the traffic both directions.

Sounds like instead of "women have strong personalities", they are actually ***** (assholes if you'd rather) that can't make peace at a get-together like civil folks do.

Mark knew you and the Mrs. during his SCA days, and you could have met my girlfriend and Mark's fiancee.

That sounds rough Micheal, I hope everyone can work things out. It's too bad that the Thanksgiving time was spoiled, but it's just one day of the year. Maybe you all could plan another time to get together.
