I don''t view it as short, as Dr. Doom does, buy I have seen much longer hair. reportedly, Khross' hair is near as long and has been longer. One of my old girlfriends (many years ago) had hair so long that when she unbraided and shook it out it hit the floor. Unfortunately, she felt the need to keep it braided and wound around the top of her head so the world rarely saw it.

Sigh.

Wish I had pictures, she was a looker.

I grow my hair to donate to Locks of Love, as Micheal linked above. I make a 14" donation of hair every August on the birthday of a friend's child who died from adolescent leukemia. So, unfortunately, my hair is only between my shoulder blades at the moment.

SquirrelGirl will tell you, however, that it's still metal even after I cut it

Two weeks in (from shaving for Halloween), and it's just starting to look un-patchy at a conversational distance. I've got blondish patches that always look like they're sparser than they really are unless you're close or the beard is long enough.
