I love DLink's offerings. I've never had complaints. Recently, DFK!'s wireless was being fritzy, but I tracked down a driver update for his card (not a DLink -- chipset integrated) and as far as I know (he hasn't complained since), that resolved it.
Their routers have always provided an intuitive, simple, interface that serves both power users (granular filtering, port-forwarding, and throttling options in many models) to basic users (easy setup and forget it).
They have good troubleshooting options. I love being able to ping from my router. It makes lying to the cable company much easier "Yes, my computer is plugged directly into the modem."
Whenever I compare my DLinks to other peoples' LinkSyses, it always amazes me that LinkSys is the one that's owned by Cisco.
