Mid Nov. I didn't preorder till that one beta.

I wasn't sure that it'd be my thing, and I liked it enough to order the basic edition when they sent me an email saying "Preorder now for 5 days of early access!"

The unofficial post I saw that's tracking waves indicated that there are reports of October 2nd pre-orders having been caught in that last wave.

So, the 13th covered the first week in 5 waves; today appears to be 67 days in 4... Depending on what kind of spikes occurred after the November beta and stress test weekends, we could be looking at everybody in tomorrow; or at the very worst, I'd suspect we'll see nobody having to wait later than Friday at the rate we're going.

The end of the day can't get here fast enough, though... Sure, I've got to grade some labs tonight, but I can at least do it while hanging out in /gu, right?

A quick update on today's invites, and a little preview of tomorrow.

Today, we invited people who had pre-ordered up to the very beginning of October (roughly). Tomorrow, we're going to be inviting the same number of people again; that will take us up to the last week or so of November. On Friday, we'll be inviting even more, and we'll give you an update on that tomorrow.

You'll see more servers coming online tomorrow, and almost certainly there will be some queuing. That was always expected. As a reminder, our plan here is to maintain healthy server populations post launch, and during the excitement of launch that will mean queues. That said, we'll be working hard to keep those queues reasonable.

We'll check back in tomorrow with another update.

Hopefully tomorrow night I'll be able to log in.

I'll be in on Friday it seems. Shame I work all weekend, though.

Nice to see it looks like we'll be getting a few more in today.

Rane asked me via PM, but I figured I'd turn around and answer publicly, too. So far, we've got 5 of our 14 pre-launch players in ORE, plus one who'll be a new acquaintance for most of you.

There was talk last night about seeing if we can fill out an Esseles run tonight; to that end, I'm game, guys, and ought to be on sometime between 8:30 and 9:30 E.

In any event, welcome to my world on Tuesday. Except, my day at the office was a 14 hour+ ordeal because I had to teach class after my normal work day. I got home at 10:30.

I was sure glad I had planned ahead and pre-loaded the client on my work computer for some character creation at lunch and between work and class... Working IT has its perks at times like these.
