Did you guys finish? Both Internet and Cable were out for about 90 mins. By the time I was able to try to connect the servers were down for maintenance.

We got to the robot guys, but not much further. They brought the servers down with 15 mins warning.

Sorry I missed the run. I had an impromtu holiday celebration.

If folks are going to try it Saturday I can make it on one of my characters since I've been given a green light by the GF to play all day Saturday.

Looks like I lost all social points I gained while doing the run. I guess you have to finish the instance to collect on all you earned during the instance. *shrug* *sigh*

Yeah, you have to hand in the instance quest (so to speak) in order to get the rewards for it, which the alignment and social points are considered to be

How does one view social points? And while I am asking dumb questions, what do social points do for you? And how does one see rest XP and how is it awarded in relation to generally mob / quested stuff? And what do light or dark side points do for you ?

Wowo, so much clueless...

Rest XP is displayed as a green hollow bar extending out from your current experience.

Dark Side/Light Side points allow use of alignment-restricted gear and color crystals.

Social Points are under your PvP rank on your character pane. They allow you to buy items from Social Vendors that do.. social stuff.

I was just 'shopping' (more like browsing). I sopped by the Light-Side vendor and so far this has been the only place I have seen to obtain relics. Of course I never made it past level 30 with any of my toons in beta so I am not sure if there are other ways to get them.

There are two relic slots on your character. They add statistics, like +22 endurance, just like any other piece of gear. I didn't meet the requirements. I think most had minimum requirements of level 50 and Light side rank 2 or greater.

I'm guessing the dark side vendor has same items, except with evil, err dark side requirements.

Thanks guys. I have seen the rest xp hollow bar... does it need to be filled? How does the mechanic work?

When it fills, you've used all the rest xp and your bar goes to normal.

I have no idea what the bonus is, or when it's applied.

Rest bonus is to kill xp, typically. I've seen nothing in SWTOR to contradict that.

Fys and I had just cleared the room with the Tractor Beam in it on our way out. Another 10 minutes and we'd have been done. Oh well. We both got some blue drops and some scavenged material; don't need to turn in the mission to keep those.

Mook, sorry I disappeared. My 3 year old had drawn with lipstick in her room, wall, carpet, books, upholstered chair, self... It was ugly and there was mUch wife aggro as somehow it was my fault.

No problem. The area was clear so I was able to run out.
