Crown of Swords and Path of Daggers were low points for me, but the first five were consistently delightful, and 3 out of the last 4 have been similarly awesome.

I can't remember which one I tried to read last. One of the ones Kaffis listed. Had to do with a bowl that controled the weather and lots of braid tugging...

I was referring to the original Sabrina. I haven't seen the remake! I had a ladyfriend that liked it quite a bit but... that did not pan out to me watching it.

Coffee - Great smell, but I will never drink the stuff

The Beatles and Elvis - I know they were both hugely popular, but I just never cared for their music.

Nirvana - I don't want to say that they are good. I just flat out hate them. I never liked anything by them other than "Smells Like Teen Spirit". To me, they are the representative of the genre that killed the music I like. That and I just thought they were terrible

Lobster - Tried it, don't like it. Don't understand the hype. I'll trade you my Surf for your Turf.

Milk - I abhor the stuff and do not understand how anyone can drink it. I am so afraid of it, I won't even give it another chance to be sure I still hate it after so many years. *pukevomit*

Conversely, I'm not a fan of Nirvana, but I give them all the credit in the world for saving music from the oversynthesized pop-crap of the horrid Eighties. I cannot for the life of me understand the appeal of Eighties music, aside from some good heavy metal (AC/DC springs to mind; KISS does not).

I suppose I agree with your sentiment about The Beatles, but I don't hate them. Rather, I recognize that culturally they're one of the most important musical acts to ever exist. It is exceedingly difficult, I think, to overestimate the place of cultural importance The Beatles hold in music history. However, I feel that they're a decent-to-good (but nowhere near great) band that is incredibly overrated.

Conversely, I'm not a huge fan of Elvis, but I enjoy most of his earlier, pre-fat work. And indeed, I rank him much higher than The Beatles in terms of cultural relevance as well as musical talent.

The remake is one of my favorite movies. And my husband doesn't mind it, either. :)

I think that was Path of Daggers, and it was truly THE low point of the series.

Is that the one were 900 pages covered about a day and a half of nobody doing anything?

That was likely Crossroads of Twilight. Nothing much happens in that book. Its all soandso continues to do this, this person continues this, etc. I didn't mind Path of Daggers, but CoT I didn't like much. But the series recovered with Knife of Dreams (which really was very good), and the latest book was incredible. In the top 3 of the series really.

I could not make it to the half way point without wanting to rip my eyes out.
