It's not the inclusion of the tech I have issues with, it's the styling of it when combined with volley, multishot, or serpent sting, for instance. And I prefer the image of the savage hunter, the spear and bow weilding jungle stalker.

Judgment Armor is completely FTW. I made my pally with the eventual goal to get a full set

The set I would want is no longer in the game. Original Cryptstalker for the win.

I haven't played EQ2 or Aion (which I believe does the same thing with armor looks) but I don't know that I'd really support that idea. When EQ had dyed armor, gear stopped essentially being visible. Everyone could customize the look they wanted, but it came at the cost of losing the ability to have visible gear mean anything beyond aesthetics.

Besides, all you'd see for Paladins, for example, are T2 rets and T6 everyone else. No fun! :p Though apparently I'm the only person that finds T2 Pally armor to look wildly out of flavor for Paladins (Uther rolled in his grave when it was created, I am sure!) so perhaps it won't bother the rest of you as much. :(

Location: The battlefield. As always.
Aion allows you to customize your gear - destroy a piece of equipment to place its look on another piece of equipment. Similar in spirit, but very different in execution.

LotRO did that...and it was one of my favorite features of the game. They even had specific outfits you could buy(just one item, but it completely changed the look of what you were wearing). It was(is) awesome.

Anyone recognize the buff/debuff mod that is being used in this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6LUcBsN ... re=related

Specifically, looks like he has the boss debuffs scrolling down on the top right, his buffs/debuffs on the left and right center screen. I had my UI set up similar to that for Warhammer would be nice to do it in WoW.

This link will tell you everything you could possibly want to know about Lore's UI. He is pretty active on Tankspot and usually replies to any questions.

Well I've apped and got in as a recruit to a guild with some friends in it. Did my first ToC 25 man and Onyxia 25 as well. Both regular difficulty. Good stuff!

I took 2 deaths total, one when the tank that they were giving a chance to MT (i.e. not the regular MT) failed to pick up Dreadscale after he re-emerged and he one shot me. The other when someone on Jaraxus (I think?) infected me with ... whatever that stuff is and I died quick.

Other than that, faction champs, Twin Valkyrs, Anub and Ony were no problem. I even got some loot that I hadnt expected since nobody else needed it. Oh and a ton of Triumph badges!

From MMO-champion!

Quote:
Patch 3.3 - PTR Build 10952
A new build has been deployed on test realms, this build is a release candidate for live servers and as I said yesterday the patch should hit the live servers on December 8th/9th. Of course, this information isn't official and it could change if something bad happens. (That's why Blizzard never gives any ETA)

Soon time to run out of the blue fire!

And the airship battle looks sooooo sweet. :D

Piffle. Shoulda been released 3 weeks ago.

And the airship battle, while cool, doesn't make much sense. Why the hell are we fighting each other... isn't that just what Arthas wants us to do? We should be teaming up to destroy his emo ***. Have the Ally and Horde airships battle scourge monstrosities and frostwyrms and ****... not each other.

Oh I agree!

But, if you pardon the pun, that ship has sailed. So now I'm gonna look past that and simply enjoy what we have.

Darn Alliance were flaunting their fancier ship for over a year now in the skies over Icecrown glacier. The time for payback is at hand. Hopefully next Tuesday!

No Professor Putricide for "several weeks", however. :( Terrible news, everyone!

Hmm so if this hits on the 8th it will be just 10/25 normal mode Gunship raid and that is i264 gear right? And then also the Ashen Verdict faction to get up, and I'm sure other stuff I'm missing.

What is the lockout on Gunship?

And as much as I like Futurama... I don't like when Blizzard is this blatant about their "Lets put "X" character in here! It'll be funny!" Especially when raid bosses are excessively chatty. There's a few bosses I just want to tell the STFU!

I'm going to be hearing this guy in my nightmares I think.

EQ2 has that problem too with excessively chatty bosses in instances that people run pretty regularly.

In other news I hit 70 on my DK. Holy ****.. 1.5 million XP for 71?

i like the Prof Putricide chat, although it might get old. WTF with that Jaraxxus guy though "FLESH FROM BONE!"... says it like 137 times a fight.

Hah yeah. It does go fast though. I mean, maybe not in comparison to earlier levels but it's not too bad in my opinion.

Heh, yeah it's the frequency and repetition that personally bothers me. I gather that two of those Farnsworth phrases aren't even part of the fight, and instead happen after you kill either Rotface or Festergut elsewhere in the Fleshworks. We shall see how often he talks or how repetitive it is during the fight itself.

The Flesh From Bone comment is the Incinerate Flesh debuff. It puts a debuff on a character that needs to be healed off (30k in 10 man/60k in 25.) Or it asplodes for massive damage to the raid.

Chatty Bosses that have annoyed me:
Ignis.
Kologarn (We get it. Oblivion. Yes. /sigh)
The Screamy Cat Lady
Hodir
Tirion Fordring (Seriously dude, STFU about senseless tragedies you had a hand in creating.)
Jaraxxus
Garrosh (Do you really need to comment every time someone dies?)
The Valkyrs.

That is just a taste for what the future brings! *Horde gang signs!*

I feel a bit sad to admit I found Ragnaros kinda repetitively annoying. The fight wasn't too short back in the day and was eerily pretty quiet outside some lava-y background noise plus the occasional TASTE THE FLAMES OF SULFURON!

But he's Ragnaros and was one of the most epic feelings in MMO raiding history so he's forgiven, I suppose.

So I recently hit 77, got cold weather flying and am saving up for the epic flying mounts. Are the any good dailies to do that have a decent gold/xp yield around this level? So far I have been doing the Argent Crusade dailies in Zul'drak, and that's a bout it.
