That geek definition is, uh, scarily accurate. Hell, even the picture is (when I'm wearing my glasses)...

Points to nerds, though, for having their moniker originate from Dr. Seuss.

Also, Otaku is mentioned nowhere on that list. I probably lean closer to that

I would have to go with a little of both as well.

I think it's a horrible description of geek about ten years ago, but it's a decent description of what people are trying to make geek mean today. It's still not to the quasi-hipster that the chart describes though.

I'm pretty much Nerd, unfortunately. Just not the "Nerd Talk" part. But, yeah, right down to professions.

I'm one of those who would prefer to be called Geek, if anything.

Once again, the ridiculous notion that owning a Mac over a PC makes one trendy or hip (or in this case, even socially capable) rears its ugly head.

Preferring a Mac simply proves you bought into a marketing campaign to convince you to pay 3x the price for half the performance and functionality. :P

Not really either. I'd say I have geekish tendencies, but that's as far as I would go.

Well, Oonagh's infographic indicates that PC people ARE 38% more likely to be good at math.

They also watch Jay Leno. Being better at math strikes me as something of a Pyrrhic victory.

Late night talk shows have sucked since Johnny Carson retired.

According to the table, I'm a nerd with good social skills. All the rest fits, though.
