One thing I really love with Skyrim is the "victory shots" where it switches camera angles when you kill the last active enemy. Especially now that I have the beheading perk.

set killmoverandom 100
set decapitationchance 100

Height, Target Type, Weapon Type Rules still apply.

Default for both is 40.

Those are ok, much better than when it cuts to you putting the killing blow on a dragon...that just looks silly.

OK, I was expecting this to get posted a few days ago. Surprised it hasn't.

One Skyrim mod to rule them all. YEAH!

What's up with this Helm of the Dragonslayer that has no graphic? By which I mean not only is it invisible it makes my head invisible as well. It was entertaining to run around with a headless follower for 20 minutes or so, but it's a bit disturbing.

I like the Dr. Zoidberg Mudcrab mod more.

That's tempting, just for a chance to kill the stupid things.

(Sorry, Mus)

So finished the main storyline tonight. I enjoyed the game overall...

Will probably pick and poke at the other stuff as time goes on. I still have 40ish levels of skills

I'm in the same boat. There's a lot of game left to be played and a lot of character types to be tried out but I'm going to be slowing down a lot now.

I'm pretty much done with Skyrim, and I never felt the need to finish the main quest. Once the writing becomes the reason you're playing, you're pretty much out of reasons to play in my opinion.

They also just released the dev kit and high-rez texture pack.

Finished the main quest on my first character, and the civil war. Working on my second now which is modeled on a WoW DK/EQ SK. This one will take the Empire side.

I do like the fact that there's essentially two main quests; the dragons and the civil war. On the other hand, I'm having a harder time internally justifying joining the Empire. After all, they try to chop your head off at the beginning and the only reason to sign up is "One Empire trooper avoided acting like a douchebag". I'm just glad I'm not playing a High Elf; talk about dissonance.

Haven't done the civil war thing yet. My characters have stayed out of it, although I've joined the Companions, the Thieves' Guild, the Mage College, and the Dark Brotherhood.

It does start to get just the tiniest bit old after a while, though, that you seem to be destined for greatness no matter where you go. That, and the NPCs who seem utterly oblivious to your rank and status despite knowing every other little detail about me.

I gain a few ranks in Conjuration and every guard wants me to "conjure up a warm bed".
I gain a few ranks in Alchemy and suddenly all the guards are either telling me they could never get the hang of it or they're asking me to brew them some mead.
I level up my Archery and they start saying "Fancy the bow, eh? I prefer the sword, myself" every time I walk past.
Catch a disease, and every citizen of Skyrim starts telling me I look sickly.

Spoiler:
But wear my shiny new Arch-Mage robes to pay a visit to Farengar, and he still suggests I join the Mage College up in Winterhold.

It's even more disconcerting when they do that right after someone DID recognize you as the Dragonborn or whatever. Then again, I suppose it's good that the guards aren't total ass-kissers; that would seem un-Nord-like.

Spoiler:
They also do seem to compliment you - the stormcloaks at least - for using 2-handers or wearing light armor, presumably because they do, too.

I also wish the main quest did not rope you into the Thieves' Guild quests. You don't have to go beyond talking to the initial guy but it's kind of annoying. My first character, becoming a thief was sort of "well, I guess that might happen" the second one it does not fit with the model at all.

Got it last week, stealth sniping is still the greatest thing ever.

It would have been even funnier if he'd watched his body die right in front of him and then decided it was his imagination.

Just found out yesterday that you don't have to talk to Brynjolf at all. It's not mentioned in-game, but you can progress the quest by talking to Keerava at the Bee & Barb, who then sends you to the Ragged Flagon.

Spoiler:
I feel the same way about the Mage's Guild. But I don't think there's a way around that, unfortunately.

Yeah, I just now discovered that even for a non-mage character, you still end up with "First Lessons" in your quest log no matter how you approach the College.

My daughter and I laugh about the same type of thing all the time...

Sneak attack arrow insta-kills and knocks Foresworn #1 across the cave.

[Foresworn #2] "Is someone there?"

With maximum skill in smithing you can make nearly limitless money. (I've got boxes with hundreds of items and over 250K coins and four of the five houses (all with max "furnishings").

With maximum skill in enchanting (and smithing), you can min/max your character into indestructable status.
