Queen is the best band ever, and Bohemian Rhapsody is my favorite song of all time...I hate, HATE, parodies of this song! (I never could finish watching Wayne's World after that car scene...)
But...but...but...I love the muppets!!!
Gah! I'm sooo torn now!
Thanks Mookie!

Just went back and watched the original, dang, that group had such amazingly tight harmonies and Freddie was such a talented man.

I was thinking "Isn't the line 'Mama just killed a man' a little too morbid for muppets? I mean, Jim Henson himself didn't like the Ninja Turtles HE DESIGNED because he felt they were too violent." I then thought, "Well, maybe they skip that part." And then I see that the song starts from the beginning.

I was bracing for it.

Glad to see they still circumvented it.

And yes I agree with Micheal. I may not like a whole lot of Queen, but I recognize and appreciate the talent that was Freddie Mercury.

Heh, Queen's guitarist is a pretty smart cat.

I love the music of Queen; I love the muppets... I do think Bohemian Rhapsody is a bit overplayed though. But still a great song. I cannot see the muppets doing any other Queen song justice.

Bohemian Rhapsody may be overplayed, but if it wasn't for it and Wayne's World I don't think Queen would have had such a resurgence in the past 20 years.

How many rock stars out there are PhD's of hard sciences in their own right?

Now we have to take them seriously when they claim fat-bottom girls make the world turn.

No, you don't have to take them seriously.

Some still believe ignorance is bliss.

There's a significant qualifier in that line you're overlooking. They make the *rockin'* world go 'round. The planet Earth is not a rockin' world; such a world is either metaphorical, rendering the physics involved in its rotational dynamics moot, or fictional, in which case it can be assumed to be science fiction, and the unusual physical conditions involved merely one of its foundational conceits.

Earth is a rocky planet, and according to Joe Strummer, it's also a rockin' world (make no mistake about it).
