Well, my sister is in active labor right now, my niece wasn't supposed to make her debut until April, but she has decided that she wants to come now!

My brother, nearly 30 years ago (good god, I'm old), was like 9 weeks premature. He got away with mild CP despite being on a respirator as an infant.

As Micheal said, significant advances have been made since then, and with my brother, you'd never know except for his goofy gait.
