Another day at work here too. No biggie.

Tuesday also happens to be bench press day this week. Which I do not love and I am not especially good at, but I will do my best.

The only thing my wife expects and wants on this day is chocolate-covered strawberries. That's it. Anything more is just extra credit.

Our first valentine's together I didn't have a lot of money so I got her the strawberries, some flowers, a card, etc. But the next year I went all-out. But I didn't get strawberries. I found out that the strawberries were the one and only thing she had been craving and looking forward to the most, so it was a disappointment when they didn't make an appearance (though she appreciated the other things).

Ever since then, I make sure to get those. Other than them, it's just extra credit. I've got the box in the fridge as we speak, and I will likely not get anything else today. And I will still get full valentine's credit. (Though a 5 course dinner restaurant is coming for her birthday in a week)

As for doting on your wife every day-day, yeah definitely not into that. A woman who loves you would rather not see you waste your money on her every day, nor expect such a behavior. Any relationship where you are giving more than receiving (and vice-versa) is going to be a bad one.
