only way to get a superior 38/44 would be to get the first year of the outdoorsman series.
sadly I don't have that one yet the one I have was made in '39 and only a 5" barrel

I may have a line on another one coming up for auction The Auction house has no idea what kind of gun it is. Other than it's a S&W 38 Special.

I discovered that I have a little problem while I was out this weekend at the range. I wear contacts and sometimes one or the other is a little hazy which I had honestly never really noticed. When this happens my eye-dominance shifts to the other. In everyday life this is not a problem; however, at the range it wreaks havoc on my aim.
