Because of the way the merchants and item pricing works, Iron (metal) dagger (type) are the best money makers.

Also don't forget to equip all four slots that have Smithing Bonus (you can get to +25% [and higher might be possible if you are maxed Alchemy] with 100 enchant and a max enchant potion running)

Once you make the item, upgrade it to Legendary, then you can sell it.

If you have the max enchanting too, you can enchant with banish for weapons (this is the best option) or waterbreathing for armor (but is limited to helms rings and necklaces). It is easy to check when you are making the items because it shows you what the new price will be once the item is enchanted.

Improving the items you loot with your skill should start turning a huge profet. Don't forget Iron and Steel ingets can be found every in town forge (and respon daily I think).

Also if you cut wood, make your own leather and mind your own ores, you can build up supplies on the cheap.

You can also make mad cash as a thief. My thief character is constantly draining her fence's pockets, which is mildly impressive given her fence has 4K gold.
Heck, even my "Ranger" character, who isn't doing any crafting or thieving whatsoever, has all 5 houses and 17K leftover (at lvl 32).

I'm currently running more mods than my computer can handle, but I'm having a hard time deciding which to get rid of.

I played this on 360 since my computer busted and I can't justify a new one with the little free time I have. In fact I'm just on my phone right now. The game was still awesome, though, and perhaps the only one in the series I really enjoyed. Just all the crazy stuff that happens out of nowhere really makes the world feel alive. Lydia was the best npc in any game ever. I'd find myself talking **** out loud to the NPCs. "What, *****? I'm the **** Dragonborn! Fus ro dah!!!! Yeah, you go flying off that cliff, vampire *****. And I'm gonna walk away like it's nothing. Oh, you, random passer by, you say those damn elves are trying to keep you from worshipping Talos? Well, here, let me just engulf them in FIRE!!"

Lydia finally ate it in my game. I am kind of sad to see her go. (She died some how without me noticing and all three auto-saves have her dead too).

I missed her so much I jumped back to a previous save and lost 3 hours and a few quests, then I sent her home and brought out Ione (or whatever) from Riften. She is the new designated Red-Shirted Ensign.

Most serious console gamers end up with new consoles every 2-3 years, too. How many gladers have had multiple 360s?

Yeah, PC Gaming does tend to cost a little bit more, but the difference is not drastic, and the experience is several orders of magnitude better on PC.

I have 1 360. I bought it on launch day at Zero Hour. It still works. Well, ok, I actually have 3, but that's because the 2 Elites are HTPCs.

I have two 360s. One I bought on launch day, the other for my workshop area a few years later. Neither one has given me any problems.

I've probably bought two or three for people as gifts, and as far as I know they are still chuggin' along.

Why would you buy a new console every 2-3 years? I can understand the posters above who want one for this room and one for that, but there is nothing new about the Xbox 360 I have now versus Khross's original (except perhaps a hard drive that I don't use).

A hard drive is probably the best investment you can make, Hopwin. Most of the games you're playing have higher resolution texture packs for use when the game is installed to the disk.
