Maybe your bad luck in getting the Crusader will negate my bad luck and I'll get something good. Still not there for me, though. I did, however, buy one of the new premium vet packs and got the Vindicator finally. Also got a raptor upgrade and shotgun shredder mod for armor pen. Considering I've gotten two shotgun mods today tells me that no, my luck will be **** and I'll get the Crusader also.

I got the Hurricane. At least it isn't the Crusader.

I find the Crusader to be a solid mid-long range weapon. The Hurricane I hate, though. Would have preferred Valiant, though.

All shotguns are worthless to me. Especially the Crusader because it belongs in the Super Heavy category like the Claymore. The Hurricane is the best SMG, but in ME3, the best SMG doesn't mean a whole lot considering how bad they are compared to ME2. It's still manageable and I'll take it over the Avenger on my caster classes.

The thing is: the Crusader is a Black Widow, without the scope and with a better reload. It's also in the shotgun slot. I find that to be pretty handy on my Soldiers.

Do NOT use the Scorpion on Mars.
Started a second play through with my same infiltrator, mainly to max out level, max out weapons, etc.

Was carrying my Black Widow V and Scorpion V. When you get to the confrontation with Eva, you're automatically switched to your pistol weapon. You need to score 3-4 hits on her as she's charging. Its NOT damage dependent. (I could switch to my black widow, cloak, and headshot her, and take her to 1 bar of health, but she keeps coming) I put four scorpion shots into her--it staggers her and she falls backwards, but the cutscene still plays where she gets to you and kills you.

The Scorpion's projectiles don't explode quickly enough to take her down, leaving me with no way to kill her. (I played it about 15 times, no way with that weapon combination to stop her that I could find)

I ended up reloading the whole misson and just making sure I had a heavy pistol other than a scorpion. (though I imagine the arc pistol would have similar problems)



On a second play through, you get to keep all your weapons, and picking up a new weapon that you already have advances the existing level by 3 steps.

are there unlocks for more multiplayer maps or are there just the 4? (granted I've not played gold)

There are 6 maps right now with a rumor about dlc adding more locations/characters. Doesn't matter what mode you play on.

Dagger, Ghost, Giant, Glacier, Reactor, White.

First multiplayer game, fell through the map and spent most of it hanging out in the nether realm.... Not impressed...

That has never happened to me once in what has got to be 50+ matches. In fact, the worst experience I've had online so far has been some 1 sec power lag, but that went away after the host dropped.

Oh yeah, I also got kicked out of the first quick match because I was level 1 (having never logged in before). The leveling hate!

Were you on bronze? It defaults to any, so you could have been in a silver or gold lobby. Because I regularly kick players that are below 15 on silver matches and below 20 on gold.

Well, that's a pretty awful matchmaking system right there. I honestly didn't even notice, I simply hit quick match to get in a quick one before the kiddo gets home. It was probably platinum.

I got in quite a few kills, before I was banished to the land of noclip bullshit.

I haven't run into any bugs like that since the demo. One time I was playing the demo and I got bugged a bit. I could move around the map, but all of the enemies were ignoring me. I could shoot them, but it wouldn't do any damage and I couldn't pick up any ammo and my powers would track the target, but do no damage. Haven't had that problem in retail, though.

Only problem I've seen is the Vanguard bug.

I had one mission where I couldn't reload. Burned all my ammo And was useless after that

Ok, now that I've had some time to really dig into the multiplayer, it's badass. The combination of strong enemies and objectives to keep your team on track really seems to be working, and I haven't had to mute anyone yet, which is surprising on XBL. I did glitch into the sky on extraction again, but still completed the mission, so oh well.

Also, how many of you guys bought "From Ashes"? Is it worth 10 bucks?

Good god, below 20? Hell, I consider 18-20 to be the range for gold. Maybe 17. Last time I beat gold, twice in a row, only one person was actually level 20. We hit an interesting rhythm on Firebase Glacier vs geth. Played my turian heavy (sentinel with Revenant) alongside a human vanguard, a salarian engineer, and a drell adept. We would do laps around the map with the engineer covering our tracks via decoy. XD
