You probably aught to familiarize yourself better with ADHD, given its prevalence. Nothing you've said here would indicate the child doesn't have ADHD. In fact, in some circumstances ADHD children become hyper-focused to a degree greater than 'normal' children.

Thank you for your concern, but I think I am pretty familiar, considering I have over 20 legitimate cases in my class. however if you really want to how I feel and having a minor in Child Pyschology and doing at least 4 papers on the problem, from my research ADHD is too prevalent. It is over diagnosed in this country and is a sad growing epidemic, because teachers can't handle bored children or change up their lessons. Watch the video on Youtube by Sir Ken Robinson about changing the paradigms of education. I would say best influential ideas for changing education all together, sat through one of his webinars.
The differences are great amongst each one of my Legit ADHD kids. I'm not saying that there is not a potential for this student to have ADHD, but given the many years of observing ADHD kids and a kid who is bored, not the same. Legally I can't say he is or isn't but given observations of him he falls more towards just bored in other classes or actually if you want me to "diagnose him" His behaviors fall more towards an aspergers kid.

I'd rather go back to talking about his weapon violation.

That depends entirely on the kid. If the kid regularly gets in trouble and doesn't seem to care about school then no amount of being away from it is going to teach any lesson whatsoever.

This kid doesn't sound like that though.

He is not a problem. Just goofy

You probably ought to familiarize yourself better with the difference in the words "aught" and "ought".

 Sure. Because we hold people to rigid standards of spelling and grammar here.

And what you said to Oonagh is the equivalent of you saying that, then having someone dickishly tell you that you have no idea what ADHD is.

He sees himself as a crusading warrior for his child, and an advocate for her in her circumstance. And that it largely laudable.

I see this often given the objectives of my not for profit.

Parents of disabled kids can't be brought to understand their various absurdities, they can only be handle and managed.

If that is the case ok, but one child is not the many that have crossed my path. Meaning many differences I have seen and deal with on a daily basis who are Legit ADHD.

Come on, bro. Don't you know that some of the best sex out there involves talking about work? My wife loves it when I cuff her to the bed then start whispering in her ear about deportation proceedings, let me tell you! It's right up there with the coffee enema for a turn-on!

You guys didn't know that knowledge, education, and field experience are excreted by the vagina and are absorbed through the penis?

So, if my husband ever seems to have become more vapid overnight, I ask who the blonde was?

Attention, Men! Blondes are BAD FOR YOU.

Yes. According to the theory, it works both ways. You may want to check his address book if he suddenly develops expertise in child psychology.

Hmm. I wonder if I could use that.

"Honey, see if you can get in that brilliant entrepreneur's pants. We need more cash."

"Sweetie, see the hot new maid I've hired to clean the house? She's really good at cleaning, and check out her ***!"

You could also be getting child support from that encounter and double down.

I'm not sure how it works in Canada, although I can't imagine the courts favor the father there. I would expect the entrepreneur would likely keep the child, and considering she could hire a lawyer that would crush Taly's husband in court, I foresee that encounter ending up with them paying child support to her.

Please, by all means, spoil the hilairty of this obviously absurd "sex = knowledge" thing we have going by overanalyzing it.
